What is the most important lesson you’ve learned in life? (this isn’t advice but was a great question)
Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about becoming the true version of who you were raised and destined to be without the illusion of fear.
Would you rather be with a nice guy whom you have no feelings for but understands you, puts effort to try to talk to you and obviously likes you a lot OR take a risk being with a guy whom you’ve loved for years and is known for being a player but you just can’t like anyone but him?
This question is super specific, so I have to be. 1) “effort in trying to talk”: this says to me that this person is doing pretty much the bare minimum and is probably walking on eggshells because they don’t want to be wounded be whomever they’re pursuing. 2) “you just can’t like anyone but him“: well BOOM there’s your answer to your own question. If it is impossible for someone you’re pursuing to get over their ex, why try to persuade them otherwise? People move on their own time and feelings/emotions are not easy to get over/suppress/or put to the wayside for later especially when it comes to the matter of love. My advice to you is this, if you’re pursuing romance in general seek another mate. If you’re FOR SURE about this person, keep putting in effort, bold effort and wait; that situation is probably delicate and you may be waiting quite awhile. If you’re not willing to wait that long remember, that you can love anyone from a distance.
Advice on asking someone out?
Just do it! If you don’t someone else will… Literally. Seriously though, what is a better sign of courage than humility? People value that, even if they don’t show it.
How can I get over my last relationship while still enjoying sex with that ex?
— The answer is simple: you cannot. No matter how many times you tell yourself that it is just about the sex. It isn’t. As women, we move and operate with our hearts, feelings and emotions; and you are still emotionally attached to this person. By choosing to engage in sex, you are choosing to make a soul connection each time. While the feeling of love may have dissipated, an attachment exists.
